O l\u00edquido refrigerante de alta press\u00e3o e temperatura normal \u00e9 seco por um filtro e, em seguida, estrangulado e despressurizado por uma v\u00e1lvula de expans\u00e3o, ou seja, de um l\u00edquido de alta press\u00e3o para um l\u00edquido de baixa press\u00e3o. O l\u00edquido de baixa press\u00e3o (ponto de ebuli\u00e7\u00e3o mais baixo) entra no evaporador da unidade e o ar de refrigera\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 levado para o interior do tanque atrav\u00e9s do ar circulante para obter refrigera\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><br><br><span white-space:normal=\"\" style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 14px;\">A solu\u00e7\u00e3o anticongelante \u00e9 injectada no recipiente sob press\u00e3o de 80L, sendo adotado o sistema de circula\u00e7\u00e3o totalmente fechado. Isto evita que o anticongelante entre em contacto com o ar exterior e assegura a condensa\u00e7\u00e3o da \u00e1gua. Depois de o tanque de expans\u00e3o ser protegido por azoto, a gama de temperaturas do l\u00edquido de transfer\u00eancia de calor tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 alargada porque o seu ponto de ebuli\u00e7\u00e3o aumenta. Al\u00e9m disso, a oxida\u00e7\u00e3o do l\u00edquido termicamente condutor em contacto com o oxig\u00e9nio do ambiente \u00e9 tamb\u00e9m evitada, prolongando assim a vida \u00fatil do l\u00edquido
