Cause Analysis of Poor Cooling Effect of Water Cooled Chiller
Water cooled chillers have been more and more widely used in all walks of life around us. Its main function is to provide industrial chilled water for equipment or products. The water temperature range can be adjusted according to users’ needs, and its accuracy can be accurately controlled at ±1℃. However, in the process of using the chiller, some users encounter the situation that the temperature cannot drop. Let’s analyze it together.
The poor cooling effect of water cooled chillers is mainly due to the following factors:
1. As far as our chillers are concerned, all machines are subject to 100% performance test before leaving the factory to ensure the normal operation of the machines. If the temperature cannot drop during initial use, it may be that the model of water cooled chiller does not match.
2. Another reason why the temperature cannot drop when the water-cooled chiller is used for the first time is that there is a small problem in the installation between the water-cooled chiller and the cooling tower, circulating water pump and pipeline, which needs to be checked carefully according to the installation diagram.
3. If this happens to a water-cooled chiller that has been used for half a year or more, it may be the following problems.
a. The heat exchanger of the chiller is too dirty. It is recommended to clean the heat exchanger and clean it regularly during subsequent use.
b. Freon leakage in the refrigeration system of the chiller. It is recommended to find out the leakage point, repair welding, add refrigerant, etc.
c. It is possible that the ambient temperature of the chiller is relatively bad. Too high or too low ambient temperature will cause the chiller to fail to meet the requirements. In this case, the requirements can only be met by selecting a larger industrial chiller.
4. It may be that the water source used has impurities. After long-term accumulation, impurities will adhere to the pipes between various equipment, resulting in small water flow. Therefore, the pipelines between various equipment shall be cleaned.
In the process of using the equipment, it is necessary to find professional maintenance personnel for maintenance. For users with poor water source, the following professional treatment shall be carried out for the water quality. Special maintenance shall be carried out for the water-cooled chiller at regular intervals, which can effectively prolong the service life of the machine.
